The 51st Annual APT US&C Conference held in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 14-16, 2016, was a great success!

Two hundred and eighty attendees met at the Amway Grand Hotel for two days of educational sessions organized into tracks on investment management, cash management and technology. Attendees enjoyed presentations from the FBI, Federal Reserve, Multi-Bank Securities, Raymond James, Plante Moran, Flagstar Bank, JP Morgan and many other speakers who provided timely and informative presentations, and the CPFIM and ACPFIM trainings were offered to attendees. Attendees especially enjoyed APT's keynote speaker, Frank Abagnale, the subject of Catch Me If You Can.  Mr. Abagnale spoke on his life story from con man to security expert as well as "The Art of the Steal" his presentation on how to protect against embezzlement, forgery, check fraud and internet fraud.

We would like to thank our partner for the conference, the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association (MMTA), for their assistance in planning this conference. Thank you for assisting APT US&C and welcoming our members to Grand Rapids!
