2003 Annual Conference

APT US & C held its 38th Annual Conference, August 10-13, 2003 at the J.W. Marriott in Washington, DC and what a success it was. Speakers included individuals from the Pentagon and the Securities and Exchange Commission, to APT US & C members who were willing and able to pass their successful strategies on to all in attendance.

Participants were marveled with a view of the city during the Opening Reception on the rooftop of the hotel. "Uncle Sam" was there to welcome everyone and mingled with the crowd as they were treated to an "All American" buffet and the sounds of a live band.

An awards ceremony was held on Wednesday, August 13th to honor those with excellence in the areas of CMFA, Investment Policy, Cash Handling, Debt Policy, and Disaster Preparedness. The conference concluded with a banquet on Wednesday evening with the Installation of the 2003-2004 Board of Directors and the presentation of the Phillips Awards.
