APT US&C 53rd Annual Conference

APT Rock n' Rolling in Memphis

The APT US&C 53rd Annual Conference will be held at The Peabody Hotel in Memphis Tennessee. Nestled in the heart of downtown Memphis, the hotel offers a one-of-a-kind experience just blocks from Beale Street, the Memphis Rock 'n Soul Museum, the Gibson Guitar Factory, Fed-Ex Forum, Sun Studio, the Orpheum Theatre and the Memphis Cook Convention Center. The Peabody Hotel is the perfect venue for educational and networking opportunities at the conference and many options for dining and entertainment when the conference sessions end for the day.

Our conference theme is APT Rock n' Rolling in Memphis, and we will be offering a schedule full of educational sessions and trainings that will include presentations on cash management, investment policies, debt management, the economy, and technology. When our educational sessions end for the day, you’ll have more networking opportunities in the Peabody Hotel and Memphis's entertainment district, which is in walking distance from the hotel.

Scholarship and Awards Information

The Association of Public Treasurers of the United States and Canada (APT US & C) encourages continuing education for all active members. The scholarship award program is designed to provide financial assistance to qualifying active members planning to attend an APT US & C Conference or to attend an affiliated APT US & C Institute. This year's submission deadline is May 1, 2018.

Service Award Program
The success of the APT US & C depends upon the degree of participation of its individual members; their commitment to excellence and motivation to carry out the purposes of the Association as set forth in the By-Laws. The APT US & C Service Award program is, therefore, established to encourage and recognize the outstanding voluntary participation and achievement of association members in furthering the purposes of the Association.

Dr. Jackson R.E. Phillips Award
The Phillips Award, instituted in 1980, was designed to annually recognize one APT US & C member for professional leadership in and significant contribution to professional treasury management. The purpose of the Phillips Award, which is the Association’s most honored award, is to encourage development of innovative programs in public finance.
